I’ve been shooting a multimedia piece on the MTR with my friend Ryan Moore. I’m going to keep posting images in this gallery and continually edit them.
As we were taking the bus back from dinner last night I got the bright idea of going out to shoot at 1am with a head cold that’s been going strong all week. Three hours later of poking around I had these. I think I’ve finally reached the point of where I can take photos and not be concerned with what they’re about….essentially no more grad school BS.
Its been a while since I’ve posted but I kind of despised the old name and wanted to wait until I could change it. I just went through these images today and was pleasantly surprised to find a handful that I wasn’t aware of. I’m really looking forward to completing the project this summer in NY. Lots of art in the horizon these days.
I just came across this gem which took me back to the good old days. Right now Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are making me miss playing music.
We had Mexican food tonight, it was glorious.
I’m over posting here for a while because I don’t feel like writing and this has become somewhat of a unrewarding chore. Everything other than taking pictures and spending time with friends seems like a time suck.
See you in India when I’m 32.
All I did this weekend was take photos and scan the three rolls I shot on Saturday. I have two critiques and a Typography project due tomorrow so after those I can go back to shooting.
I need to get my hands on a Scad District Quarterly, one of my Tybee photos is the cover.
I’ve been listening to the new Jane’s Addiction, Ryan Adams, Mastodon, Wilco and the EP my pals Alberta Cross put out. Its a really good time to be a music lover.
Mike and I had our opening tonight and it was a blast. We booked and hung a show within a week in a foreign country with a full grad course load. I’ll repeat it a million times but no one will understand that challenge until they actually complete it. HUGE thanks goes to Mike, Mark Aldred, Sean, Yoav Horesh and Steve Aishman…all of you have made an indelible impression on my life.
Thank You to all our classmates that showed up, you guys and gals made our night and validated our effort.
Next stop, India.
